Offers to donate artifacts are referred to the Museum Curator. The donor may be asked to provide photographs or additional information about the object. Once all of the information has been gathered the offer is then considered. The decision is based upon certain criteria such as, how many similar artifacts already exist in the collection, the physical condition of the object, the potential for exhibition and relevance to the Museum's mandate and collection.
